In 1970 I came to Hawaii for a Christmas holiday and was captured by the beauty of the islands and the aloha of its people. Sailing among these enchanted islands, scuba diving in Kealakekua Bay, hiking the shores of Kona and to the top of Mauna Loa while enjoying fabulous food and song at many family luaus are cherished memories of my introduction to Hawaii and its culture during the early seventies. 

In 1973 after exploring most of the island, I discovered a then remote subdivision called Hawaiian Ocean View Estates and settled in making it my home then and today. There were only 30 homes, no gas stations or stores.  I entered the real estate profession in 1975, received my brokers license in 1978, then, in 1990, receiving great support and respect for my business honesty and acumen, I opened my own agency.

Presently, Hawaiian Ocean View Estates is just one of eight subdivisions, along with two shopping centers and a Post Office. We cover 32 sq. miles and are referred to as Ocean View Village. We have changed a great deal since 1973 and continue to change and grow.
